About ModenArtNZ

ModenArtNZ is a small NZ business based in Maraetai Beach, Auckland.  Created by arty couple Keith and Liz who share a love for creative art and design.

 

We love to handcraft new products utilising untreated and durable timbers, mainly Macrocarpa, Jarrah and Eucalyptus.  The timbers are from sustainable sources, with much of the product coming from old power poles.

 

Keith works full time designing kinetic sculptures from his workshop in Maraetai, and is inspired by nature, form and the practical durability of working with wood.

 

Liz assists in creating new products for the business, incorporating a love of unusual products, painting and upcycling a variety of items.
